This cafe is known for its fast and friendly service. It also plays host to events such as book launches and music on a regular basis. The menu is varied and delicious and includes items such as waffles and avocado mash.
Compound Secondhand Surf + Espresso
Address: Shop 23B/ 15 Heathfield Road, Coolum Beach
Opening Hours: Open 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Saturday. Closed Sunday.
Coffee is the main order of the day at this laid-back hangout. You can also expect a selection of brownies, bagels and cookies. You may also find a surfboard or two for sale.
Gelato Mio

New Earth Cafe

Freddy Fuddpukka’s Cafe

This is one of the friendliest cafes around in which to stop and enjoy a bite to eat. It’s situated within a shopping precinct, so you can grab a few bargains, before or after you eat. The outdoor seating is dog friendly, if you want to bring your pet along with you.
Reception Specialty Coffee

This espresso bar may only be small, but it’s pretty perfect. It’s an ideal place to stop off for a great tasting coffee. You can find this little gem in Coolum’s Industrial Estate.
Le Bon Delice French Patisserie

The menu here is varied, with a range of fare such as baguettes and macarons available to try. The staff are friendly and efficient which makes a visit even more enjoyable. A quick note that this is a cash only establishment.
Bean Head Cafe

All the food here is either made at the café or sourced in the local area. It’s fresh and it’s super tasty. As with all of the cafes in this list, the welcome is a friendly one. You will feel right at home.
Raw Energy Coolum

The food here is healthy as well as tasting great. There is also a range of delicious beverages available including fresh coffee and smoothies.
The Pool Cafe

The Pool Cafe is situated in the Ridges estate and is popular with residents. Unfortunately, it’s only residents who can use the pool, but that does not make this cafe any less appealing. The food and service are excellent; a coffee and a cupcake is an especially popular choice.
