Create your home-away-from-home in one of the five popular camping areas. From here you can walk the beaches, fish or 4WD around the park. Take a sunset stroll, catch the sun’s first rays as they peek over the horizon or just relax around your camp fire.

Load up the horses and set out on the 6km Beach Horseriding trail—you and your horse will love it! You can walk your dog (on a leash) and camp here with them too.

For a bit of quiet time, grab your binoculars and camera and head off on the Birdwatchers track. You’ll see a variety of birds in a pretty bushland setting, and end up in a quiet picnic area overlooking Pelican Bay. The best part is you get to see it all again on the return walk.

Launch your canoe or kayak from one of the beaches and explore the Great Sandy Marine Park. The rich marine life is ideal for fishing and wildlife spotting—keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins and dugongs.
